Meet Isaac

Meet Isaac. Isaac has been volunteering at Soul for nearly a year now. He volunteers at Soul every single day across nearly every shift - to us he is Mr Reliable. He embodies the Soul culture of giving his all for whoever he can every time he's here.

What would you say about your time at Soul?

“I am me again.”

Isaac was born in New Zealand and lived in Samoa for a few years before finding his forever home in Newcastle. Isaac is the best cake decorator in the business using his creative skills to create Masterchef-worthy desserts. He also loves music, particularly Ukelele. This year he started learning the ukelele through Soul’s newest guest/volunteer weekly music class ‘Uke got Soul’.

Isaac’s favourite part of Soul is watching the transformation of guests and the quick responses guests have when they are given the right support.

There is no doubt whenever you come into Soul Isaac will be busy head down working with a friendly smile across his face, and visible-from-space fluro shoes on his feet. We love you, Isaac!
