Soul NDIS Connection Desk

Many of Soul’s guests have either a psychosocial, intellectual, or physical disability and may be entitled to receive support through the NDIS.

Soul has connected with Uniting Care to provide an NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme Connection Desk once a fortnight in the Soul dining room. By bringing the connection desk to Soul, we offer the opportunity for guests to access information and resources that they might not have known they were eligible for.

The ladies from Uniting have been able to support guests with information regarding the requirements of being eligible for the NDIS, supporting them to start an NDIS application or connecting them to other relevant services if they are not eligible for NDIS.

Meet our guests

Our guests and meeting their needs is what compels us. Soul Cafe has become a safe place, a refuge, a family. Its a place where everyone’s welcome because nobody’s perfect and anything is possible.
